Hero Pitbull Saves Family From Fire, Grabs Baby By Her Diaper

“If it wasn’t for her, I would have still been in bed and things could have taken a worse turn,” said the dog’s owner.

Pit bulls may look like the aggressive type but in reality, they can be among the most loving, loyal, and friendly dogs you can ever have. On top of that, they can even save your life.

Take it from this family who was recently alerted by their pet dog from a fire. Because of the pit bull puppy’s actions, no one was hurt from what could have been a very tragic blaze.

Meet 8-month-old Sasha, the hero pit bull!

According to reports, Nana Chaichanhda and her family were sleeping soundly at their home in Stockton, California. Fire started during their rest and it was their pet dog who alerted them about it.

Sasha barked loudly and banged against the door to wake them up.

The dog simply wouldn’t stop barking and so Nana got up to check on the animal. As she opened the door, Sasha pushed her way through and grabbed Masailah, Nana’s 7-month-old daughter.

In an interview, Nana shared:

“She [Sasha] had already had my baby by the diaper and was dragging her off the bed.”

The story has quickly been picked up by many news sources and it has since gone viral.

“I owe her everything,” remarked the single mother of three.

“If it wasn’t for her, I would have still been in bed and things could have taken a worse turn.”

Nana also made mention of how the pit bull has developed a close bond with her kids. She said the family pet loves the children, plays with them, and even bathes with them.

Now the family has to start from scratch after the devastating fire.

Currently, Nana and her children are staying with a family member.

She admitted:

“It’s hard to answer the questions, ‘Where are we going to live?’ and ‘Are we going to be homeless?’ when I’m trying to figure that out as well, so right now we’re leaning on each other.”

Christine White, her sister, has already set up a GoFundMe page for those interested to help out.

Worried Dog Would Do Anything To Protect Owner Even From Medics

Nothing will stop this dog from protecting his owner

We all know the famous line, “Dogs are man’s best friend.” As it turns out, however, humans are definitely more than just a great pal for these four-legged pets.

One dog clearly proved that his owner is his everything from being his master to his best friend. Losing him would be unbearable for the broken-hearted dog that he would do anything to protect his human, even from the people who were trying to save him.

Rescued German Shepherd Saves Family After Smelling Gas

They are not called man’s best friend for nothing.

A German Shepherd in Long Neck, Delaware is being hailed a hero when she woke her owner up in the middle of the night after smelling gas. Five-year-old Greta started barking in the early hours of November 13 and wouldn't stop, waking Ken Walsh up.

Ken was confused why Greta, who is usually the quietest of the family's five dogs, wouldn't settle down and so he got out of bed to investigate. The panicked dog led him to the kitchen, and that’s when he smelled the gas leak.

Shelter Pleads For Expert To Help Save Neglected Sheep With 90 Lbs Of Wool

Chris the Sheep was spotted carrying around 90 pounds of merino wool. Expert Ian Elkins, a four-time national shearing champion, took the job and set a Guinness Book Of World Records for his feat.

Walk into the National Museum of Australia and there you’ll see, displayed among Aboriginal paintings, tools and other artifacts that depict the country’s history, roughly 90 lbs. of wool.

The thick fleece “helps tell Australia’s pastoral story, and represents the important work the RSPCA has done in this country for all animals,” the National Museum of Australia wrote in a February 2016 Facebook post.

So… what’s a pile of wool doing in a national museum? Glad you asked....
